Home

This evening, Kate and Christi and Eddie arrived in Nashville, thus ending one journey and beginning another. We were met at the airport by Granny Faye (Eddie's Mom), Nanna Sue (Christi's Mom), Poppa Tim (Christi's Step Dad), Aunt Sandy, Uncle Harold and cousins Leah, Michael, Seth, and Sam.

We'll be going back through all the previous entries in this blog and adding more details from our trip, making this the definitive record of our Journey To Kate. Those updated entries will be designated as "revised." Again, we really appreciate all the friends and family and strangers who have followed this blog, and especially those who have taken the time to send us comments and keep in touch along the way.

From one of those strangers out here in blogland, thank you so much for allowing me to follow your journey. It definitely brought back great memories. Welcome Home! Can't wait for the new photos, you guys take great ones. I've already copied a few of the general ones for my web album, like Lucy's. How could I have not taken a photo of that?

Your daughter is beautiful. Somehow I think that you all will be having your happiest Thanksgiving yet!

Kind regards,

Carol and Taylor (fka Nan Xian Yi and Kate's MaoNan sister) in Miami

Just came upon your blog and couldn't get over how similar your adoption journey was to ours in December. It seemed like every step was the same. Then I saw that your guide was Simon with CHI and I realized why. Your pics are much nicer than mine. Hope you don't mind if I snag some of your tourist shots for our daughters scrap book. I missed taking pics of a lot of things.
